The first pilgrimage of our times was in 1988 with a multitude of pilgrims, but it was officially approved in 1996. Since then, the pilgrimage is made to a land called El Calvario which receives this name because of its location next to the mount and the ruins of the ancient convent with the same name. The enclosure is located at 8km from Osuna in the local road of Los Corrales towards Martín de la Jara. In that place the hermitage was built during the nineties and it is curious to know that the first funds were raised thanks to the raffle of a watermelon in a former pilgrimage.
