Forum of the Genetiva Iulia Colony
Although there are no studies that ensure definitively the location of the Forum of the ancient Colony, most of specialists place it in the space where most of archaeological remains are found, among them, we can highlight the so-called “Bronzes of Osuna”at the confluence of the paths: Granada, Farfana and San José. These remains are close to the area where the theatre and many religious and civil buildings were constructed, keeping the urban roman model which emphasizes the monumental centre of the towns.
Some of the remains that we can currently appreciate are: some walls at the end of the Farfana path and the water tank popularly known as “La Pileta” which keep on uncovered, they are vestiges of the ancient Roman town.
