Ntra. Sra. de Consolación Pilgrimage

At the first dawn of day, a great number of people come together to the church where you can find the “simpecado” (standards), from there this image goes on a pilgrimage to the area of the “Calvario”, about 12 kms from the town. Families are in contact with nature and they enjoy of a great day in the countryside.

In this event there is a special “romero” atmosphere where people riding on colorful and spectacular floats, praying the rosary at the beginning of the way back and singing the typical “sevillanas” when they arrive the “Cortijo del Rosso” . Finally all the people called “romeros” arrived to the “Calvario hermitage”.
